Teach your puppy that the world is fun, and that you are her favorite trainer, while she begins learning basic behavior! HOLIDAY HOUNDS

At Seneca Hill. Saturday December 1–15 @ 11:00 a.m. Maximum 4 dogs. 3 hour-long sessions. $90.

Practice skills for some of the most challenging holiday behaviors: polite greetings, relaxation at family gatherings, and chilling out during festive meals. Classes will simulate the arrival of guests, a family party, and a sit-down meal! Dogs should have a basic sit or down, and the beginnings of a stay. This is not a good class for dog-reactive dogs.

SMALL WONDERS

At Seneca Hill, Saturday December 1-15, 12:30–1:30 p.m. Maximum 6 dogs. $90 for 3 weeks.
For adolescent and adult dogs who weigh 15 pounds or less.

Do your little dogs want a class of their own? Join us for six weeks of fun, games and training for little ones!

Explore obstacle courses, play hide and seek, learn a trick, and brush up basic skills, all while building great communication between you and your diminutive best friend.

Dogs must weigh less than 15 pounds.

For adolescent and older dogs, the learning never stops! Help them perfect the skills you’d like them to have, to negotiate the sometimes challenging world of humans.

  • Would you like your dog to rest at your feet at the vet’s waiting room?
  • Does a squirrel cause your dog to “check out” instead of checking in?
  • Are you able to let your dog know when he can and cannot greet people and other dogs?

Over the six weeks in My Dog Has Skills, you and your dog will build good manners for the situations and distractions you experience every day.  We’ll also show you games and enrichment activities to stretch your dog’s brain!

FIDO'S FIRST GRADE

In Hamilton, VA, Thursday January 3 –February 14 (No class February 7), 9:30–10:30 a.m.

For adolescent and older dogs, the learning never stops! Help them perfect the skills you’d like them to have as we build on their experience as puppies.

This six-week Fido’s First grade class builds on skills taught in Puppy Kindergarten, as well as teaching those skills to adolescent and older dogs who are in class for the first time:

We’ll increase the difficulty level little by little in ways that are fun and creative, and we’ll introduce challenges that you might encounter in everyday life.
